How Agency's consolidated tiers, overage, and per-client allocations work.
Agency puts every client workspace you manage on one consolidated bill, instead of a separate Solo subscription per client.
Agency isn't a self-serve signup. Book a call with HarperFlow's founder, who confirms your tier and rate. Once your account is unlocked, the account owner completes a one-click upgrade from the Plan page, which collects a card and activates consolidated billing. Any client workspaces already on their own Solo subscription keep running as-is until you migrate them onto the Agency plan, so you're never billed twice for the same site.
Each tier is a flat monthly base fee that includes a set number of articles, plus a per-article rate for anything beyond that:

The base is billed upfront on the 1st of the month and covers your included articles.
Articles published beyond your tier's included baseline bill at your per-article rate, in arrears, so each 1st-of-month invoice combines next month's base with last month's overage. As a safeguard, if unbilled overage reaches $500 mid-month, it's invoiced immediately rather than left to accumulate. This doesn't touch your base or reset your included count for the month.
Add client workspaces and set each one a monthly article allocation. This allocation is a hard cap: once a client reaches it, that client's autopilot publishing pauses for the rest of the billing period, and you raise their allocation to let it resume. The allocation resets at the start of each billing period. Billing itself stays aggregate across every client on the account, not itemized per client, so raising one client's allocation never creates a separate bill for that client. It just lets them publish more against your shared base and overage.
Only the account owner can cancel Agency billing. You can end it at your next billing date (the default, where your access and every client's continues through the period you already paid for, with no partial refund), or cancel immediately and revert to Solo right away.
Note: Your per-article overage rate can be adjusted for your account within a roughly $5.00–$9.90 range. Changing it recalculates your base (base = included articles × rate), so the included count stays the same unless that's changed too.
