Connect your Wix site

How to install the HarperFlow Wix app, find your IDs, and pick a blog.

July 26, 2026

Connecting Wix starts with installing the HarperFlow app from the Wix App Market, then handing HarperFlow a couple of IDs from that installation.

Note: Wix support is still opening up gradually. If Wix doesn't appear as a selectable option in your platform picker yet, choosing it there joins a waitlist instead, and HarperFlow emails you when it's ready for your site. What follows describes how the connection works once it's available to you.

Prerequisites

You need a Wix site you administer, plus a few minutes to gather the IDs below after installing the app. You won't need any of them beforehand.

Install and connect

  1. Go to the HarperFlow app on the Wix App Market and click Add to Site.
  2. Open the installed HarperFlow app inside your Wix dashboard. Your Instance ID is shown in its Settings panel.
  3. Find your Member ID: in your Wix dashboard, go to Contacts → Members → your name, and copy the Member ID shown there.
  4. In HarperFlow's Connect step, paste your Instance ID and Member ID. The Member ID is the Wix member HarperFlow attributes posts to as their author, so use the account you want showing up as the byline. Site ID and Site URL are optional; HarperFlow can infer them.
  5. Submit to connect.

HarperFlow only publishes blog posts to your site through this connection. It doesn't touch your site's design, pages, or settings.

Choose where articles go

Pick create a HarperFlow blog (recommended, a dedicated Wix Blog feed for HarperFlow articles) or publish into an existing blog you already use.

Verify your first draft

After finishing setup or triggering an on-demand run, open your Wix Blog dashboard and check for the new draft or scheduled post, complete with generated cover images.
